A new era of Venithia is upon us.

Enactment Of AERO

The Act of the Essential Rights & Orders, also known as AERO, is the first of many new changes.

Firstly, the new rules are similar to the old ones, but shorter and clearer. They are applicable EVERYWHERE, regardless of whether it is the Greater Venith website *or* groups on third-party websites. They also apply to ALL users, unlike later sections of the AERO's provisions.

1. No pornography, gore, or other degenerate materials, unless legal under United States law and absolutely necessary for context.
2. Speaking the tongue of Satan or relishing in his way is forbidden, particularly for those at or above SENATE in the government.
3. Intentionally evading filters against slurs, New York Yankee slang, or other content will result in a ban. However, content will not be removed on the main Venith website, and these filters can be turned off.
4. Uploading material not created by Venithia is forbidden except if you own the material, have explicit permission to upload the material, or can prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the content falls within Fair Use under American law. Do note that bans are only handed out for blatant, intentional violations of this rule, as removing the content is usually enough.
5. Debate is explicitly encourage and bait is to be expected. However, our law is eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Therefore, if you cannot take hits, do NOT try to hit others as we will not ban people for defending themselves.
6. Doxxing and evading blocks is explicitly forbidden. Those who intentionally dox users will be permanently banned and those who use alternative accounts to evade blocks will also be banned. We do not mind edgy shitposters, we do take legitimate harassment far more seriously.
7. Treason leads to temporary or permanent exile. It also leads to a permanent restriction from writing articles on the newspaper, encyclopedia, or code of law. HOWEVER, you cannot be denied to laboring or creating artworks within Venithia if you are allowed back in.
8. By joining any sector of law in the Greater Venith MockGov, you agree that intentional or severely neglectful violations of both folk and administrator laws count as treason.
9. Anyone who is a subject of Greater Venith is guaranteed a fair trial.

Secondly, I have established new laws and rights of the state and its actors, which are irrelevant to the average person, but can and must be upheld by members of the MockGov.

1. The state is ruled by the EMPEROR, whom himself must be ruled by the Holy LORD.
2. The EMPEROR is allowed to add or remove members of the COUNCIL, SENATE, or GUARD as per necessary.
3. The COUNCIL, due to them being possible candidates for a "new ruler" should the emperor die or be rendered permanently incapable of ruling, must explicitly be composed of Christian peoples, unless they were already COUNCIL or an equivalent role before June 15th 2026 AD.
4. The EMPEROR is allowed to add/remove special days as desired.
5. Emergency overrides for regular Venithian rights are explicitly forbidden. However, emergency powers may be granted to restrict the rights of a non-Venithian who is within Venithian territory if absolutely necessary.
6. The EMPEROR can be disposed of by death or resignation. 7. The role of the GUARD is to squander attempts at petty terror, they are essentially our police force. 8. The role of the SENATE is to vote on declaration of war, create propaganda, and communicate with the people in a fair, coherent manner. They are also usually given global moderation abilities, due to being trusted with administration powers to some extent in nearly all groups.
9. War can be declared with a 2/3 vote of those SENATE and above. Any and all ruling, however, can be overturned by the EMPEROR.
10. Anyone who is at SENATE or above may apply to carry copies of Venithian data, however, any private data must be properly encrypted. Failure to protect this data will certainly result in permanent restriction from private archival, except if you are legally or physically forced to give up the information in question.
11. New laws may be added as per necessary, but both the set of laws for the folk and laws for the state may not exceed 50 global laws each, as overly complicated laws are forbidden.

Encyclopedia Updates

For a few months, I have been working on updates to the encyclopedia. I have also begun to experiment with the picture HTML tag, and plan to release a version of the website template intended for the new Venith website. The encyclopedia of Venith will contain frequently asked questions, notable artwork and figures, our history, and much more. In the future, I plan to record audio of each article, which will be available for those who want to listen rather than read.

Furthermore, to help with bandwidth, I have considered the following:
- Images will be served as JPEG, PNG, and GIF on legacy devices while being served as AVIF and GIF on newer devices.
- Videos will be served as VP6 at 480p60 on Nintendo Wii, as H.264 at 720p60 or below on other legacy devices, and as AV1 or H.265 at 4K60 or below on modern devices.
- Audio will be served as FLAC, OPUS, or MIDI whenever possible. Otherwise, formats such as MP3 will be used.

Some things I will experiment with on the encyclopedia will be applied to other areas like the newspaper if successful, such as using the picture HTML tag to automatically swap between AVIF and JPEG/PNG, or embedding subtitles into video files. I plan to also mandate all official Greater Venith propagandas to be in the highest quality feasible. For example, I intend to record all footage of games such as Destiny 2 at 4K60, as I am willing to feed a little bit of extra money for noticably higher quality.

Miscallenous Updates

New Venithian social accounts are to be established across Discord, YouTube, and other sites. Furthermore, we will revive groups & socials on sites like DeviantArt. This will be another part of the "Great Venithian Revival" I have been planning for many, many, many months now. I may, if things go very well, re-establish the multi-clan system on games like Destiny 2. Furthermore, if it becomes desirable again, I am willing to reopen a dedicated Discord server for Greater Venith, but I seriously want to avoid *reliance* on third-party devices. I have considered forcing all chat-services to use the same channel list, then just syncing everything thus creating a massive Discord--IRC--Stoat--Fluxer(--Telegram?) sync, but this causes far more headache than it is worth currently.

I would also like to make it clear that we have a working HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini with ProxMox now, I am attempting to figure out how to best configure this. We will likely run the first tests over Tor or I2P if we get it up and running soon. I am working on code right now, I may settle for a VPS if I cannot get it up in time, but I intend to stick to my word of loose file uploads from day one if I can.

We have StarLink now, which is far more generous with self-hosting, but I am capped to 200 megabit instead of the previous 1 gigabit. However, this should not be an issue outside of poorly compressed audio and video, which I intend to avoid entirely.

Before I end this off, I would like to note that from June 16th 2026 AD to July 4th 2026 AD, we will run a 250th Anniversary Of America event, where we'll submit tons of cool American-themed VNTH stuff. Any submissions made may be publicized onto the encyclopedia :]
Also, tomorrow is my birthday, so I may write an article at night.
